Darley has officially announced the appointment of Steve Fitzgerald as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of its Defense Division.
Fitzgerald, a distinguished former officer in the SEAL Teams with over 24 years of service in the US Navy, brings a wealth of experience to the role.
His career has included deployments to various countries and combat zones, notably Iraq and Afghanistan, where he led Joint Special Operations Task Forces.
Fitzgerald’s military accolades are notable, including the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, two Bronze Stars, and two Combat Action Ribbons.
After retiring from active duty in 2004, Fitzgerald transitioned into the private sector, where he has held significant positions, including Senior Vice President of Sales at Aon Consulting and CEO of MAX Digital, a Software as a Service company in the Automotive Industry.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Miami of Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in National Security Affairs from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in Washington, DC.
