Jeff Darley has announced his retirement following a career that lasted almost half a century at Darley, a leading company in the fire and emergency services industry.
With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette, Jeff began his tenure at Darley part-time in 1974, transitioning to a full-time position in 1981.
Throughout his career, Jeff has held various roles including engineer, shop supervisor, assistant vice president, and chief operating officer, primarily overseeing the operations at Darley’s Chippewa Falls, WI, pump manufacturing facility.
Reflecting on his time at Darley, Jeff said: “Hard for me to believe that my 45-year career at Darley ended with my retirement celebration in December.
“It has been awesome working with Team Darley employees, both present and past, the OEMs, fire departments, first responders, and all our customers around the world.
“The relationships I developed and the memories I have will never be forgotten. The change in the world’s fire and emergency services from the 1970s to the 2020s and beyond has been incredible.
“The changes Darley and our team have gone through have been amazing. You all made my work at Darley so rewarding. Thank you for the relationships and memories I have made with you.
“Thank you for using Darley products. Thank you for serving those that serve. Work hard, play hard, enjoy life!”
Despite his retirement, Jeff will continue to contribute to Darley’s success by remaining on the company’s Board of Directors.
Darley has expressed gratitude for Jeff’s years of service and dedication to the company, wishing him well in his retirement.
