As reported by America’s VetDogs, the President of the United States has signed The Working Dog Commemorative Coin Act into law.
The legislation received robust bipartisan support in both the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate.
It acknowledges the vital role of working dogs across the nation.
The act also offers assistance to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities.
Proceeds from the sale of the commemorative coins will directly support America’s VetDogs.
This funding enables the nonprofit to broaden its mission.

The U.S. Mint will issue the commemorative coins in 2027.
