TLX Technologies has announced the launch of its Configurator Tool for customers in the United States.
According to TLX, the online tool is designed to help users define and submit detailed specifications for custom fire suppression actuators.
The manufacturer explained that users can input parameters such as system operating pressure, actuation force, swivel connection type, and housing thread specifications.
TLX stated that users can begin by selecting a fire suppression actuator on its website, then clicking the “Solution Configurator Tool” button.
Once in the tool, users can input technical parameters and add optional components.
Project-specific notes can also be added before finalizing the configuration.
TLX noted that the configuration is saved by entering an email address, which generates a private link for access.
The company said that configurations can be edited, shared or submitted directly to TLX’s technical team.
TLX confirmed that users do not need to create an account to use the Configurator Tool.
The company emphasized that this process helps simplify communication and eliminates additional barriers in submitting actuator specifications.
TLX added that this allows users to return to and modify their configuration as needed throughout the project timeline.
TLX explained that many actuator needs can be addressed through customization of existing solutions.
However, it noted that some applications may require a fully new design.
By collecting all relevant information up front, the company stated that its team can evaluate which approach is best suited to the customer’s system.
TLX added: “By using the Configurator Tool, our technical team will have the information they need to help you choose the best solution for your system.”
