Captain Nolen’s career

In the statement, it stated how Captain Nolen leads not with words but with consistent action, whether guiding firefighters at the station, shaping the future of the department by serving as Drill Master in the LAFD’s academy for the past four years, or remaining a calm presence during the most demanding incidents.

Captain Nolen’s dedication extends far beyond the department.

He plays an active and meaningful role in his church, offering time, leadership and steady support wherever it is most needed.
