The webinar will be hosted by Julian Smith, Assistant Regional Practice Leader at Telgian.
This course intends to provide an overview of NFPA 72 requirements for fire alarm system personnel qualifications.
Attendees will learn to identify the roles, responsibilities and competency levels of key personnel, including designers, installers, testers and maintenance staff.
Julian will also highlight relevant industry certifications, such as NICET, IMSA and ESA and their role in ensuring qualified personnel.
Julian Smith has over 20 years in the fire protection industry and has extensive experience with all aspects of fire alarm system design including site surveying, code research, system layout, permitting and plan review.
Julian has completed projects for a variety of industries with emphasis on commercial, education, healthcare and multi-family residential structures.
Julian holds a NICET Level II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems and is an active member of NFPA.
