Expo Fire & Safety 2024 & International Congress will take place on August 27-28 in Mexico City, Mexico, showcasing leading figures from the fire protection industry.
According to Telgian, Tom Parrish, Vice President of Compliance and Training for Telgian Fire Safety, will deliver a presentation titled “Aspirating Smoke Detection for Lithium Battery Storage Applications.”
Parrish’s session will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 28.
Parrish brings over 25 years of experience in fire protection and emergency response.
He has worked with municipal fire services, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and the private sector in system design and installation.
Parrish’s credentials make him well-suited to address the topic of aspirating smoke detection.
He is a past president of the Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AFAA) and an instructor for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
He also serves on several NFPA technical committees, including those on loss prevention and emergency communications systems.
Additionally, Parrish holds several professional certifications, including Level IV NICET Certified Fire Alarm Technician and Certified Fire Protection Specialist.
He is also board-certified as a Physical Security Professional by ASIS and is a retired Fire Marshal from Putnam Township Fire Department in Michigan.
The Expo Fire & Safety 2024 event is organized by the Mexican Association of Automatic Fire Sprinklers (AMRACI) and the National Fire Protection Council (CONAPCI).
It will feature exhibitors from around the world, showcasing systems, training, and services related to fire protection and safety.
