Taylor’d Systems LLC has shared the launch of the Series 40+, a container-based training structure developed for versatility and to support advanced firefighter training operations.
As an expanded version of the company’s flagship Series 12, the Series 40+ offers a larger training footprint and enhanced features, giving fire departments a cost-effective alternative to traditional facilities.
Constructed from high-strength recycled shipping containers, the Series 40+ has been built to withstand tough training conditions and long-term outdoor exposure.
According to Taylor’d, its rugged design makes it ideal for high-frequency use while minimizing maintenance needs.
The upper container is equipped with heavy-duty bar grate decking and an integrated rappelling anchor, supporting vertical drills and elevated training scenarios.
The Series 40+ provides flexibility for training exercises. It includes a spacious SCBA maze, a movable wall system in the upper 20’ container and five interior floor hatches—allowing instructors to modify the space to simulate a variety of operational challenges.
The structure also supports two-story floor rescue evolutions, improving preparedness for confined space and collapse rescue training.
The Series 40+ aims to allow departments to expand their training capabilities over time. Its modular design makes it easy to integrate into larger training environments or serve as a standalone solution.
Existing Taylor’d Props can be upgraded with new features without the need for full replacements, thanks to universal component compatibility.
