Pierce Manufacturing has announced that registration is now open for the 13th annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Lambeau Field.
According to Pierce Manufacturing, the event will take place on September 20, 2025, and is co-hosted with the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.
The stair climb honors the 343 firefighters who died on September 11, 2001.
Pierce Manufacturing stated that all funds raised during the event will go to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF).
Participants will climb the equivalent of 110 stories, the height of the World Trade Center towers.
Each participant will carry an honor badge featuring a firefighter’s name and photograph.
The company noted that the event includes a symbolic bell ringing on reaching the 78th floor, the highest level reached by firefighters on 9/11.
According to Pierce Manufacturing, over 2,300 people participated in the 2024 stair climb.
The company aims to increase attendance in 2025 to more than 2,500.
Bob Schulz, president of Pierce Manufacturing, said: “It’s both an honor and a privilege for Pierce to be a small part of the fire service.
“We’re incredibly proud to continue growing this event in support of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the brave men and women who serve our communities.
“Each year is as meaningful as the next as we pay tribute to the 343 firefighters who selflessly put others ahead of themselves on 9/11.
“We deeply appreciate the support of our partners, volunteers, and climbers who make this event possible.
“Their dedication ensures we never forget the sacrifices made.”
Pierce Manufacturing confirmed that registration fees will vary by date: $35 until July 11, $40 from July 12 to August 22, and $45 from August 23 through the day of the event.
Participants who register by August 22 will receive event T-shirts.
The company said all climbers will receive honor badges.
