Scutum North America has integrated Home Security & Management Company (HSMC) into its Scutum Digital business, strengthening the company’s monitoring services footprint across North America.
Based in Vermont, HSMC is an independently owned and operated UL Fire-approved Central Monitoring Station with nearly 40 years of experience in emergency services. The company is recognized as one of New England’s longest-established monitoring centers and serves customers across the region and throughout the United States.
HSMC provides alarm monitoring alongside services including alarm installer and customer access, scheduled testing and two-way audio, offering around-the-clock protection for its client base.
Michael Vitarelli, CEO of Scutum North America, said the integration was designed to support continuity for customers and partners.

Scutum Digital brings together alarm monitoring expertise with AI-driven security technology. Since January 2026, Statewide Central Station and Visentry have operated under the Scutum Digital brand, providing 24/7 monitoring services across the United States.
The company said the addition of HSMC supports its wider strategy to combine global resources with local service delivery while maintaining continuity for customers.
