Safety & Fire Conference will be held within the Expo Seguridad Industrial from June 24 to 26, 2025 at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City, Mexico, with specialized conferences on fire, industrial safety standards, workplace safety and civil protection.
Supported by the International University of Knowledge and Research (UNICI) , an institution specializing in civil protection and occupational safety educational programs, this event seeks to enhance industry professionalism with specialized content and key updates on safety regulations and protocols.
Over the three days, the Safety & Fire Conference will offer a program divided into three thematic areas; fire, standards and civil protection.
Participants will not only have access to high-level presentations but will also receive a UNICI-approved certification, reinforcing the event’s educational and professional value.
The event is supported by leading educational institutions and associations in risk prevention and occupational safety, such as NFPA, IIAR, Prevencionar, IPAF and others.
Jaime Gutiérrez , Coordinator of Economic Development and Competitiveness of the State of Mexico, expert in economic development and public policies, will present the conference Safe Investment: Fire Prevention as a Pillar of Economic Development , in which he will address how fire safety is a key factor for competitiveness and business growth in the country.
Lic. Cecilia Acosta , General Director of Seguridad y Bienestar Laboral, S. de RL de CV, Mexico, a specialist in occupational safety, will teach Risk Mapping Using the ILO SAFE WORK Methodology . Her presentation will provide key tools for risk management in the workplace, based on international standards.
Israel Carrillo, Director of CRESTCAP at the IMSS’s Western State of Mexico Regional Office (OOAD) and an expert in training and occupational risk management, will give a lecture on occupational risks . His presentation will address strategies for preventing and mitigating accidents in the workplace, focusing on current regulations and best practices in occupational safety.
