Rosenbauer America will begin a $25 million capital investment at its Minnesota campus in 2026 to increase production capacity and enhance customer support.
Strategic planning for this project started in early 2025 as the company evaluated long-term capacity needs and customer demand trends.
The expansion will increase operational space and improve workflow to support the requirements of fire departments across North America.
Enhancements at the Minnesota site are intended to improve the consistency and speed of apparatus delivery.
Sven Lindenfelser, Chief Operations Officer at Rosenbauer America, stated: “This expansion strengthens our production capabilities and positions Rosenbauer America to meet the evolving demands of fire departments with even greater precision and efficiency.
“By investing in our Minnesota campus, we are investing in the customers who rely on Rosenbauer equipment every day.
“These enhancements ensure we can continue delivering the high-quality apparatus and support they expect – both now and well into the future.”
A new purpose-built facility will consolidate the Service Department, Parts Department, Training Department and final build teams.
This consolidation is expected to improve service coordination and customer support capabilities.
The investment includes a warehouse expansion to improve materials management and streamline production flow.
The company will double the Minnesota campus test pit from two bays to four to increase the speed of final apparatus validation.
This upgrade allows more units to move through final testing for improved delivery timelines.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026 with all new facilities expected to be operational in late 2027.
Rosenbauer America anticipates job growth across its service and parts teams as the expanded capacity comes online.
