Rosenbauer America to feature electric vehicles and new tools at Indianapolis expo

Rosenbauer America has announced it will exhibit its latest fire apparatus and equipment at FDIC International 2025 in Indianapolis, Indiana, from April 10 to 12.

The company will display a full range of fire trucks and tools at booth 3413 inside the Indiana Convention Center and outdoors on South Street.

According to Rosenbauer America, the exhibit will feature vehicles for municipal, industrial, and airport use, including the RTX electric pumper and the PANTHER electric Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle.

Other products on display will include foam pumpers, aerial platforms, rescue trucks, and custom pumpers with integrated pump controls.

Electric and industrial fire apparatus among key product highlights

The exhibit will include multiple vehicles built on Rosenbauer’s COMMANDER and WARRIOR chassis, as well as commercial options based on International and Freightliner platforms.

New releases at the show include the PANTHER electric ARFF vehicle and a custom industrial foam pumper.

Rosenbauer America said the electric PANTHER is the first fully electric ARFF vehicle.

It delivers zero-emission firefighting capabilities and is designed for sustainability in airport fire services.

The new custom industrial foam pumper combines foam proportioning and high-performance monitor systems for use in hazardous environments.

Advanced technologies to support operations and firefighter safety

Rosenbauer will also highlight the Logic Control System (LCS), a user interface that allows pump, foam, and lighting functions to be managed from multiple locations on the apparatus.

The RTX electric pumper will also be featured.

The RTX uses a modular electric drivetrain for improved maneuverability and reduced noise during operations.

Other technologies to be demonstrated include the King Cobra articulating aerial platform, the RTE remote-controlled firefighting robot, and the BEST battery extinguishing system.

Handheld tools on display will include the Drill-X and Cuttex, used for suppression and breaching in emergency scenarios.

Public demonstrations and HEAT event participation

Live demonstrations will take place at Rosenbauer’s outdoor exhibit on South Street.

Apparatus featured will include the Viper Aerial Ladder, Cobra Aerial Platform, King Cobra, and T-Rex platforms.

Rosenbauer America confirmed it will participate in the Handling, Evaluation, and Tactics (HEAT) event daily.

The RTX electric pumper, PANTHER electric ARFF, and RTE Robot will be used in live fire scenarios.

Following each HEAT session, attendees can drive the electric apparatus and test the robot and handheld tools in simulated use cases.

Indoor exhibit to host Fire Department Coffee and guest appearances

Inside the Indiana Convention Center, Rosenbauer America will host daily Fire Department Coffee sessions at its booth.

Visitors can meet Fire Department Coffee representatives, including Jason Patton and Firefighter Fenton.

A meet and greet is scheduled for Friday, April 11 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Eastern Time.
