REV Fire Group will present an extensive range of fire apparatus, including the pioneering all-electric Vector pumper, at the FDIC International 2024.
This event will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana, from April 18 to April 20.
The exhibition includes 16 advanced vehicles from REV Group, Inc.’s fire apparatus brands such as E-ONE, KME, Ferrara, Spartan Fire Chassis, Spartan Emergency Response, Smeal, and Ladder Tower.
Mike Virnig, president of REV Specialty Vehicles Segment, emphasized the significance of the FDIC for showcasing their brands’ unique capabilities: “FDIC is an important show for all of our REV Fire Group brands – we get to showcase what sets our brands apart from each other and how our apparatus can help meet a fire department’s exact needs to best serve and protect their community,” said Virnig.
“We’re looking forward to talking with our current customers and introducing potential new customers to REV Fire Group’s fire apparatus innovation.”
In line with the theme “Protecting Those Who Protect Us,” REV Fire Group has organized several events.
These include ‘REV It Up Coffee and Conversation with FDIC Live’ each morning, and ‘REV It Up Happy Hour’ with product walk-arounds and live interviews, particularly featuring their Tractor Drawn Aerial products during ‘Tiller Time Miller Time.’
The display will notably feature the Vector, with Division Chief Rob Anselmi of the Toronto Fire Department and Assistant Chief James Johnson of Mesa Fire & Medical Department sharing their experiences.
Both officials will discuss the operational impact and advantages of incorporating the all-electric Vector into their fleets.
