Raleigh Fire Department, located in North Carolina’s capital and second-largest city, has recently upgraded its fleet with the purchase of four custom pumpers.
The purchase was made from Spartan Emergency Response, a key player in the fire apparatus manufacturing sector and a subsidiary of the REV Group, Inc.
Specially designed to cater to the unique requirements of Raleigh’s response area, the pumpers are equipped with a 94” wide aluminum cab and body.
This design aims to enhance the safety of the crew during their operations.

Raleigh Assistant Chief James Poole expressed the department’s anticipation: “We are excited to partner with Spartan Emergency Response in providing our department with four new custom pumpers.
“These pumpers are being designed to meet the specific needs of our department as we serve the residents of our community.”
