Pye-Barker expands fire sprinkler services to Idaho

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, a leading fire protection and security services provider in the United States, has acquired Treasure Valley Fire Protection (TVFP), a fire sprinkler systems provider in Boise, Idaho.

This acquisition marks Pye-Barker’s first offering of fire sprinkler services in Idaho.

Pye-Barker aims to enhance its services for current and future commercial customers in the Boise area, adding to its existing security services.

History and legacy of Treasure Valley Fire Protection

Treasure Valley Fire Protection was founded in 1979 by Ron Stenquist, who began the business in a garage after taking a summer job installing sprinklers.

The company has since grown to provide a comprehensive suite of design, installation, inspection, and maintenance services for fire sprinkler systems, along with backflow testing and 24-hour emergency services.

Brodie Stenquist, President and Co-owner at TVFP, said: “At Treasure Valley Fire Protection, we attribute our success to building relationships and working with people of integrity.

“Getting to know the team at Pye-Barker, I can see we are aligned in our commitment to do the right thing and take care of our people, and I’m proud to partner with them for our company’s next chapter.”

Leadership comments on the acquisition

Bart Proctor, CEO at Pye-Barker, commented on the acquisition strategy: “Pye-Barker’s strength comes from the teams and families that have chosen to join our collective of fire protection and security experts in our mission to protect our communities.

“Our acquisition strategy is effective because we partner with companies like Treasure Valley that are dedicated to the important role we have in keeping our neighbors safe.”

TVFP’s skilled team will continue to serve customers in the Boise area with the support of Pye-Barker.
