PureForge launches reseller program for fleet braking systems

PureForge has announced the launch of its new Reseller Program designed to improve access to its braking systems for law enforcement and municipal fleets across the US.

The company confirmed that the program will allow agencies to buy its ultra-durable braking solutions through trusted local outfitters and fleet supply channels instead of direct manufacturer sales.

According to PureForge, its braking systems are supported by a three-year, 100,000-mile warranty and are engineered to deliver enhanced safety, durability and cost efficiency for public safety vehicles.

As part of the rollout, PureForge named Dana Safety Supply as its first authorised reseller.

Expanding access through established fleet channels

PureForge said the initiative aligns with a broader industry trend in which public safety agencies prefer to purchase vehicle equipment from full-service outfitters and integrators.

The company explained that this model “meets customers where they are,” providing a direct path to acquire and install PureForge brakes through existing procurement routes.

Nathan K. Meckel, Founder of PureForge, said: “We’ve engineered a brake solution that doesn’t just meet expectations – it redefines them.”

“It ensures mission-critical braking is available directly where public safety departments already outfit and maintain their fleets.”

Dana Safety Supply joins as first authorised reseller

With 48 locations across several US states, Dana Safety Supply serves a broad customer base spanning police, fire and municipal fleets.

According to PureForge, the partnership will see Dana Safety Supply handle marketing, distribution and installation of PureForge brake systems, supported by national training and warranty programmes.

David Russo, CEO of Dana Safety Supply, said: “Public safety fleets are often dealing with significant budget limitations and are constantly asked to do more for less.”

“Our mission is to help these fleets stretch every dollar while still providing top-tier technology and improved safety.”

“PureForge fits that role perfectly, offering high performance braking that lasts longer with lower maintenance.”

“It’s another way to prove to our customers we’re fully invested in their mission and the safety of their officers.”

Benefits for authorised resellers

PureForge confirmed that authorised resellers will receive lead sharing, discounted pricing, marketing support and territorial rights with first-refusal opportunities.

The company designed this structure to align with how public safety agencies already procure essential vehicle systems such as lighting, communications and protective equipment.

According to the company, embedding PureForge brakes into these established supply chains ensures faster installation, reliable local support and improved accessibility for fleet operators.

Implications for public safety fleet managers

The launch of PureForge’s Reseller Program may influence how public safety fleets source braking systems and related vehicle components.

By partnering with Dana Safety Supply, PureForge creates an integrated channel where police and emergency vehicle managers can access braking technology through existing procurement systems.

This could streamline installation, warranty management and maintenance planning for departments with limited budgets or decentralised fleet operations.

For fleet specifiers, the program adds new options for sourcing durable, high-performance braking systems within established vendor networks.
