Pierce Manufacturing Inc. is showcasing its latest fire apparatus and technologies at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis, Indiana.
From April 18 to 20, 2024, attendees can explore the Pierce exhibit located at booth #5300 near the Capital Corridor.
The display includes 12 fire apparatus featuring new design elements and advanced technologies aimed at enhancing firefighter safety and efficiency.

The exhibit features the Enforcer™ Volterra™ electric fire truck among a diverse lineup of fire apparatus, showcasing industry-leading safety technologies and the engaging new Pierce™ Dispatch podcast.
Schulz expressed excitement about connecting with the firefighting community, sharing knowledge, and showcasing dedication to enhancing safety, performance, and efficiency in emergency response.
Among the highlighted fire apparatus are the Enforcer Volterra Electric Pumper and the Enforcer Pumper with a PACCAR MX-13 Big Block Engine.
Additional features include a top-mounted pump panel and the Pierce TAK-4 T3™ Tight Turning Technology on a single axle, enhancing maneuverability.
The display also includes the Enforcer PUC™ Pumper with capabilities of up to 2000 GPM and an extreme-duty HVAC system.
Featured technology at FDIC 2024 includes the Pierce Volterra EV Experience, offering a hands-on opportunity to learn about the electric fire truck’s key components and patented technology.
The PACCAR MX-13 Big Block Engine, exclusive to Pierce Enforcer and Velocity custom chassis, is also showcased with experts available to discuss its design attributes.
Other technologies displayed include the ClearSky™ Fully Integrated Telematics Solution and the HiViz Connect Warning Light System, which integrates with Pierce Command Zone™ Advanced Electronics for lighting control.
A highlight of Pierce’s FDIC 2024 presence is the recording sessions of the new Pierce™ Dispatch podcast.
Launched in March 2024, the podcast offers an insider’s view into the firefighting world, discussing fire apparatus design, technology, and the daily challenges and triumphs faced by firefighters.
