The City of Oshawa and Oshawa Fire Services (OFS) in Ontario, Canada are proud to announce the appointment of Lance Fass as Deputy Fire Chief, Readiness and Support Services.

Deputy Chief Fass brings over 23 years of service to OFS, having built a distinguished career marked by operational excellence, strong leadership and a deep commitment to the community.
Beginning as a front-line firefighter, according to the OFS he has played an instrumental role in shaping OFS’s high standards through his active involvement with the Oshawa Professional Fire Fighters Association and key contributions to corporate initiatives.
In this new role, Deputy Chief Fass has assumed strategic oversight of several key areas, including training, mechanical, procurement, grants and funding and labour liaison.
