The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) has announced that registration is now open for the 2025 NVFC Training Summit.
The event will take place June 20-21 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and will feature two days of classroom-based training, networking, and a vendor expo for firefighters and EMS providers.
The NVFC Training Summit will include three learning tracks focusing on responder health and safety, volunteer recruitment and retention, and emergency service leadership.
Attendees can choose from 18 courses addressing physical and behavioral health, NFPA standards, onboarding new volunteers, leadership strategies, and best practices for volunteer retention.
The NVFC acknowledges that cost can be a barrier for participants and is offering stipends to help offset expenses.
Eligible attendees can be reimbursed for up to $800 in conference-related costs, including hotel accommodations, airfare or other transportation, and event registration fees.
To qualify for a stipend, attendees must be current NVFC members.
Memberships are available for $21 if joined by January 1, 2025, and will increase to $24 on January 2.

The venue provides easy access to local attractions, restaurants, coffee shops, and public transportation.
Activities begin on June 19 with an ice cream social and event registration.
The summit agenda includes general sessions, keynote speakers, and breakout training sessions led by nationally recognized instructors.
A networking social event will follow classes on June 20, giving attendees opportunities to connect with peers and industry professionals.
Vendor tables and sponsorship opportunities will also be available throughout the summit.
