The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) has appointed Braden Horton as its new corporate relations manager, a role focused on strengthening relationships with corporate partners and expanding support for the organization’s programs and initiatives.
In the position, Horton will work with NVFC corporate partners to develop mutually beneficial sponsorships, memberships, and partnerships that advance the council’s mission and support the volunteer fire and emergency services community.
Horton joins the NVFC from The Arc of the United States, where he served as manager of corporate partnerships and secured funding for programs supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He previously worked with Fairtrade America’s development team across global commodity categories to help promote fair compensation for farmers. Horton holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and media from the University of Michigan and is passionate about connecting purpose-driven organizations with partners who share their goals.
