The Minas Gerais Military Fire Department (CBMMG) held a ceremony at the headquarters of the Operational Company of the 5th Independent Company of the BM, in Sete Lagoas, Brazil, to deliver a Light Rescue Vehicle (ASL), acquired through a parliamentary amendment by State Representative Marli Ribeiro.
The new vehicle aims to represent an important reinforcement for the Company’s operations, which is responsible for serving Sete Lagoas and 21 other municipalities in the region.
In addition to the vehicle, operational rescue materials were also delivered, which will be used directly in incidents, expanding response capacity and ensuring greater safety and effectiveness in emergency response.
During the ceremony, the commander of the 5th Independent Company, Major Luiz Paulo Barbosa Araújo, highlighted the importance of the investment for the corporation and the community.
He stated: “Every resource allocated to the Fire Department is, in fact, an investment in the safety and well-being of the population.”
State Representative Marli Ribeiro, responsible for the parliamentary amendment, reiterated her satisfaction in contributing to the strengthening of the institution and improving services provided to society.
