The Military Fire Department of Minas Gerais (CBMMG) has celebrated the graduation of ten service members in the Pre-Hospital Care (PHC) course – MARC Protocol 1 on 19 February.
The training was held at the headquarters of the State School of Penal Services, located at 1560, São Luís neighborhood, in Ribeirão das Neves and was taught by the Criminal Police.
The course focused on the MARC 1 protocol, which guides public security professionals to prioritize in a systematic way, the control of massive hemorrhages, the guarantee of patent airways, breathing and body temperature.
This structured approach is essential for effective care in high-risk scenarios, enabling service members to act in extremely dangerous situations such as combat and other critical occurrences.
In addition to the military firefighters, the training was attended by several security forces including the Criminal Police itself, Municipal Guards, the Brazilian Air Force, the Brazilian Navy and the Judicial Police.
At the end of the course, certificates and shorts were delivered to the participants, in recognition of the commitment and dedication of all involved Training in APH – MARC 1 Protocol is of great importance, as it qualifies military firefighters and other security agents to apply advanced techniques of pre-hospital care, ensuring greater efficiency in responding to occurrences and raising the level of preparation of security forces in Minas Gerais.
