Master Lock unveil Premium 2-Hour Fireproof Safe line

Master Lock, the provider of safety and security, has announced the launch of its most advanced line of premium safes to date. The Master Lock Premium 2-Hour Fireproof Safes are engineered with durable, high-grade steel and high-security locking bolts to withstand extreme elements, such as fire and water and endure impact from falling through a burning structure from up to 15 feet.

According to the National Interagency Fire Center, in 2024 there were 64,897 wildfires reported, consuming 8.9 million acres nationally, compared to 56,580 wildfires reported in 2023, which consumed 2.6 million acres. With an increase in wildfire occurrence year after year, it’s now more important than ever to have a plan in place to help prepare for such an occasion.

Features of Premium Safes

Engineered and tested to maintain their design integrity in temperatures up to 1850° F, the new Master Lock Premium Safes are Underwriter Laboratory (UL) Classified to prevent damage for up to two hours.

With ETL Verified water protection, the safes’ secure water seal can resist 5-inches of standing water for up to 24 hours, ensuring items, including electronics, go undamaged during firefighting efforts.

For an added layer of defense against theft and unauthorized access, each safe is designed with a pry-resistant hinge bar to keep the door secured and items protected, as well as a dual key system allowing users to disable the primary lock even if others know the combination.

Additionally, each premium safe offers a thoughtfully designed interior, with features such as a key rack, door tray and deep door pocket.

• Master Lock STW082GTC Premium 2-Hour Fireproof Safe: Designed to defend against theft and impact, the door is fortified with 3 solid bolts, includes a pry-resistant hinge bar and a programmable digital code. For added convenience, the interior features an organizational tray and pocket and lighting for enhanced visibility.
• Master Lock STW123DUB Premium 2-Hour Fireproof Safe: For added protection, the door is fortified with 4 solid bolts, includes a pry-resistant hinge bar and a dual-key combination lock. The interior features an organizational tray, shelf and door pocket.
• Master Lock STW205GYC Premium 2-Hour Fireproof Safe: The interior of this model features a privacy drawer, 5-inch-deep organizer and door pocket, plus lighting for enhanced visibility. The door is fortified with 6 solid bolts, a pry-resistant hinge bar and a dual-key, programmable digital code.
• Master Lock STW123GTC Premium 2-Hour Fireproof Safe: The interior includes an organizational tray and pocket, plus lighting for enhanced visibility. For added protection, the door is fortified with 4 solid bolts, a pry-resistant hinge bar and a dual-key, programmable digital code.
