FireAid took place in Los Angeles on January 30, with musicians performing to raise funds for communities affected by the Palisades and Eaton wildfires.
The concert was held at the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome, with a livestream switching between venues.
Billy Crystal, who lost his home in the fires, opened the show at the Kia Forum.
He said: “You’ll be hearing from a number of people who were tragically affected by these fires, and I was one of them.”
Artists including Billie Eilish, Pink, Katy Perry, and Dr Dre performed at the event, which aimed to support ongoing recovery and fire prevention efforts.
Several performers at FireAid have connections to California.
Katy Perry, a native of the state, waved the California flag while performing “California Gurls.”
Dr Dre performed “California Love” and said: “I appreciate all the first responders and all the firemen who put their lives on the line.”
Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks dedicated her performance of “Landslide” to the firefighters who saved her home.
She said: “I was a full-on Pacific Palisadean woman with an old, beautiful, famous house that was almost taken from me.”
Funds raised from the concert will go toward short-term relief and long-term fire prevention projects.
The Annenberg Foundation will oversee distribution.
Billy Crystal announced that U2 donated $1 million, while Connie and Steve Ballmer pledged to match donations made during the event.
Viewers were encouraged to contribute online through FireAidLA.org or by text.
Proceeds will support affected families and fire mitigation efforts in Los Angeles County.
The concert concluded with performances from major artists.
Nirvana’s remaining members reunited, featuring guest vocalists including St Vincent and Kim Gordon.
Olivia Rodrigo performed “Deja Vu.”
Lady Gaga closed the event with “Shallow” and a new song written specifically for the concert.
