LION Safety Solutions has acquired Turnout Maintenance, a verified Independent Service Provider (ISP) based in the Los Angeles area.
The acquisition of the cleaning, inspection, and repair business enables the LION Group unit to introduce its TotalCare service programs to Southern California.
LION Safety Solutions confirmed the facility is the first TotalCare location in California and the second established on the West Coast.
The move aims to address rising demand for professional protective equipment (PPE) maintenance across the state and the Western United States.
The Los Angeles facility will provide CO2 decontamination services to clean and maintain firefighter gear for regional departments.
This technology is considered the gold standard for cleaning PPE.
LION Safety Solutions recently partnered with Decontex to utilize this scientifically proven cleaning technology.
TotalCare staff also perform technical inspections and repairs to confirm that protective clothing meets or exceeds NFPA safety standards.

The addition of the Los Angeles site brings the total number of TotalCare locations to nine across the country.
Former Turnout Maintenance founder Rich Spining will transition to the role of manager for the Los Angeles TotalCare site.
The business also manages PPE rental programs for fire departments and training academies.
