Leader Emergency Vehicles (LEV), part of REV Group, Inc and a manufacturer of premium Type I, Type II and Type III ambulances, has celebrated its 50th anniversary this year.
Celebrations kicked off at the American Ambulance Association Annual (AAA) Conference & Trade Show in June in Lexington, KY.
The Leader display featured one of its ambulances with special anniversary graphics, signage, 1970’s trivia and candy and cupcakes for the conference attendees.
Festivities will continue from Wednesday 20 August 2025, to Thursday 21 August 2025, at the California Ambulance Association (CAA) 77th Annual Convention in Monterey, CA.
The celebration will wrap up in September with a special event at the Leader facility in South El Monte, CA with employees, local dignitaries and suppliers.
Leader began its production of emergency vehicles in South El Monte, CA in 1975 and is one of only two West Coast ambulance manufacturers.

The Leader team is comprised of over 100 employees, many who have been with the company over 30 years.
