KME presents new fire engines at FDIC International in Indianapolis

KME is exhibiting its latest customised lineup of fire apparatus at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) International, held in Indianapolis, Indiana, from April 18 to 20, 2024.

Located at Booth #3901, the display includes a range of specialised vehicles designed to meet the diverse needs of fire departments.

Larry Daniels, senior director of global sales at REV Fire Group, emphasised the adaptability of their products: “KME is known for building modified fire apparatus that answers the specific needs of the fire department.

“We continue to meet the varied requirements of our customers and look forward to attendees seeing our unique lineup at FDIC.”

Detailed look at KME’s featured fire apparatus

Among the highlighted vehicles at FDIC International are three notable models.

The Aerialcat Midmount Platform from Hazleton Fire Department, Pennsylvania, is showcased with its robust capabilities, including an 84-foot steel aerial platform with a 1,000-pound capacity.

The PRO Pumper from Napanoch Fire Department, New York, features a 1,500 GPM pump and a 500-gallon water tank.

From Noblesville Fire Department, Indiana, the Custom Pumper is built on a Severe Service XMFD chassis and includes a 750-gallon water tank and 1500 GPM pump.

Additional activities and events at FDIC 2024

REV Fire Group has organised an array of activities to engage FDIC attendees further.

These include the ‘REV It Up Coffee and Conversation with FDIC Live’ each morning and the ‘REV It Up Happy Hour’ with live product walk-arounds on Thursday and Friday.

These events will feature live interviews with National Fire Radio, enhancing the interactive experience for visitors.

Additionally, attendees and customers are invited to visit REV Fire Group Booth #4200 to celebrate first responders and view the all-electric North American style Vector fire truck built for Toronto Fire Services, continuing the theme “Protecting Those Who Protect Us.”
