Isolatek International, a provider of passive fireproofing solutions, has announced the launch of FireSolve SB, a solvent-based intumescent fireproofing product notable for its durability, application efficiency and environmental safety.
The development of FireSolve is designed to be integral for meeting the construction needs of emerging industries such as data centers, EV battery production facilities and chip manufacturing centers, among others.

Created specifically for application to commercial structural steel, FireSolve is designed to offer;
● Low Thickness and improved surface finish: FireSolve aims to deliver high quality fire protection with minimal coating thickness, allowing for cost-efficient and aesthetically pleasing applications.
● Application efficiencies: Is designed to provide resistance to impact, abrasion, and moisture. FireSolve is a single-component solvent-based intumescent coating with dry-fall characteristics and no need for internal reinforcement, reducing waste and accelerating project timelines.
● Low VOC solvent: Featuring a VOC solvent for a solvent-based product, FireSolve meets environmental safety standards while delivering top-tier performance.
● Full-scale testing and no red list ingredients: FireSolve has been tested to meet the most rigorous industry standards, with up to four hours of fire protection in accordance with ASTM E 119, UL 263 and ULC S101. The product is also free from 2024 ILFI Red List Materials, ensuring safety for occupants and the environment.
