The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) announced two webinars set for November to discuss risks and hazards associated with fire fighter protective gear.
Scheduled for November 7 at 3 p.m. ET and November 8 at 12 p.m. ET, the sessions aim to raise awareness of potential hazards and examine ways to reduce injury and fatality rates among fire fighters and emergency medical personnel.
These webinars are intended to give IAFF members a platform to share insights on safety improvements and discuss future protective gear advancements.
Interested members were encouraged to register online through the IAFF platform.

Sean DeCrane, Director of Health and Safety Operational Services at IAFF, said: “These webinars are a vital opportunity for the IAFF to gather input from our members, whether they are from small Locals, large Locals, or anywhere in between.
“This is an opportunity for input as our union works to create the roadmap for the next generation of fire fighter PPE.”
