The International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Volunteer and Combination Officers Section (VCOS) has presented the Gold Ribbon Report: Utilizing Data in Emergency Response, a comprehensive roadmap designed to help guide transitions to the National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS) and help to understand the vital role that data plays in today’s world.
This document is intended to serve as a testament to the IAFC’S collective commitment to advancing emergency response capabilities through the strategic use of data.
The IAFC has also recognized the work of former United States Fire Administrator Lori Moore-Merrell and the United States Fire Administration (USFA) team for its leadership in developing the next generation of national emergency reporting through NERIS.
