The manual provides sample formats for the platform, profile, and Letter of Intent.

Applicants should email their documents separately to Ken LaSala, the EMS Section Staff Liaison, at klasala@iafc.org.

The Chair’s position requires a minimum four-year commitment, which includes a two-year term as Chair and another two as Immediate Past Chair.

The manual also emphasizes the importance of active communication and representation of fire service-based EMS.
