For the eighth year, Hazmat Nation and HazSim will bring together more than 200 hazmat professionals for a networking and fundraising event in conjunction with the International Association of Fire Chiefs’ hazmat conference held 12-5 June in Baltimore.
Hazmat Nation and HazSim has announced they will bring together more than 200 hazmat professionals for a networking and fundraising event in conjunction with the International Association of Fire Chiefs’ hazmat conference held 12-15 June 2025 in Baltimore.
Running for the eight year, the networking event is free to hazmat conference attendees and will be held June 12 at the Baltimore Firefighters Union Hall. While the event is free, attendees need to preregister here.
Phil Ambrose, inventor and CEO of HazSim said: “We’re so excited to bring this important fundraising and networking event back, which we could not have done without the support of our corporate partners.
“We are also excited to be in a new location this year. The Firefighters Hall will make for a great experience for our guests and help us raise more money for firefighter cancer.”
Hazmat Nation and HazSim will once again use the event to raise money for the Firefighter Cancer Support Network.
Ambrose said: “We’re a firefighter owned and operated company. We get it. We all know a sister or brother firefighter who has battled cancer.
“We appreciate that cancer prevention starts with self-care, good equipment, good hazmat training and good decon practices. But we get that even with all those things in place, firefighters still get cancer. We’re firefighters and we have to help where we can.”
FCSN, a national nonprofit with more than 250 volunteers nationwide, has been serving firefighters battling cancer since 2005.
HazSim will be providing demonstrations of its Pro 3 hazmat training platform. The reimagined HazSim uses cloud-based technology to push and track training evolutions, and can connect to multiple devices across larger areas.
As in previous years, the event will include industry sponsors who will offer free merchandise to the attendees. This year will also mark the return of the bourbon tasting, sponsored by All Safe Industries.
Ambrose concluded: “Our sponsors made all the difference in the world in making this a success.
“We look forward to furthering our partnerships with them as this event grows in scope and purpose in the coming years.
“Hazmat response and training improves when hazmat professionals can build bonds and share their knowledge. This annual event and the daily work at Hazmat Nation are dedicated to building those bonds.“
More than 200 hazmat professionals will come together for a fundraising and networking event held by Hazmat Nation and HazSim.
The fundraiser is in conjunction with the IAFCs’ hazmat conference held 12-5 June in Baltimore.
