Hannay Reels will exhibit its fire and rescue reel line at FDIC International from April 20 – 25, 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The company said it will be in booth 4141 with the SBEF hose reel and the ECR1600 cable reel.
The SBF for Booster Hose reels are made of aluminum and weigh up to 30% less than standard booster reels.
The reels are built to handle 3/4-in. or 1-in. I.D. hose and can reach pressures as high as 1,000 psi.
Booster hose reels use a chain-and-sprocket drive powered by an electric motor.
A manual reel uses a gear-driven crank rewind with a pinion brake as standard.
The reels are used as a quick first attack for small fires or during setup for larger-volume hoses.
The source material states these reels are used on fire trucks as well as on UTVs and skid units.
In the same event announcement, Hannay Reels also listed details for its CR1600 Manual or Power Rewind Reels for Live Cable.
These reels use a chain-and-sprocket drive with an electric motor.
The standard version includes a three-conductor, 45-amp collector assembly.
The reels are intended for situations where rescue tools, on-site power and lighting are needed.
The company also said it offers customization options for both hose reels and cable reels.
Serving the fire and rescue industry since the 1950s, the company designs and assembles fire hose reels and cable reels for use in extreme conditions.
The FDIC International display will center on two reel products and their use in fire attack and rescue support operations.
