The 22nd Military Firefighter Group (GBM) held, in partnership with the Specialized Firefighter Instruction Center (CIEB) an important lecture on the Technical Approach to Attempted Suicide (ATTS).
The lecture was held on Tuesday 10 June in the auditorium of the Geraldo Di Biase University (UGB), in the Municipality of Volta Redonda, Brazil.
The meeting, had the main objective of demonstrating all of CBMERJ‘s approaches to the topic in question, featured an important lecture presented by Captain BM Derek, from CIEB, promoting the integration of various bodies from the municipal, state and federal spheres of the country.
Present at the event were: Lieutenant Colonel BM Jannuzzi, Commander of the 22nd GBM, Military personnel from the 28th Military Police Battalion (BPM), Municipal Guards from the Municipality of Volta Redonda, Employees from the Nelson dos Santos Gonçalves Hospital (a reference in mental health care).
As well as agents from the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU), the Municipal Secretariat of Public Order, Civil Firefighters from Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN), Firefighters from Shopping Park Sul and students from the Psychology Course at Geraldo Di Biase University.
The Commander of the 22nd GBM shared: “The integration of all these institutions is extremely important with regard to prevention issues, in the response and treatment of individuals with mental problems who need help.”
The GBM held a lecture on the Technical Approach to Attempted Suicide, in partnership with the CIEB.
