Fireaway has launched UltraSense, an environmental sensing platform designed to monitor conditions within clean energy enclosures and electrical equipment spaces.
The system works alongside Stat-X condensed aerosol suppression to provide a multi-stage strategy for battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar and wind infrastructure.
Operators can use the platform to track abnormal conditions such as temperature spikes, humidity shifts, moisture ingress and air quality changes.
Continuous monitoring allows for the identification of risks before they transition into electrical faults or fire incidents.
The UltraSense platform improves early warning capabilities by detecting battery off-gassing and abnormal heat signatures in BESS containers or wind turbine nacelles.
Integration is supported through building management systems, SCADA platforms or local alarms to provide actionable data for response teams.
Stat-X condensed aerosol units serve as the final safety layer by providing total-flooding suppression within enclosed spaces.
These self-contained units operate without pressurized cylinders or distribution piping and are electrically non-conductive.
The suppression agent features zero ozone depletion potential and zero global warming potential for use in sustainable infrastructure.
Jim Dickinson, EVP of Global Sales at Fireaway, said: “Fire protection in clean energy environments requires more than a single solution, it demands a coordinated, layered strategy”
“With UltraSense and Stat-X, we’re delivering a fully integrated solution that addresses fire risk at every stage, from early condition monitoring to final suppression.”
