Fire-Dex, a manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE) for firefighters and emergency responders, has announced the launch of the RescuePro Package.
As reported by Fire-Dex, this bundle is designed to equip firefighters for non-structural calls with safety, comfort, and cost savings.
The RescuePro Package combines three of Fire-Dex’s best-selling alternative PPE products: TECGEN51 Fatigues, Dex-Rescue Gloves, and FDXL90 Boots.
The TECGEN51 Fatigues are lightweight, single-layer garments that reduce heat stress, fatigue, and the spread of carcinogens.
The Deluxe model in this package includes additional reinforcement.
The Dex-Rescue Gloves provide superior cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance, while the FDXL90 Boots offer exceptional breathability and flexibility, being 30% lighter than most structural boots.
By bundling these essential garments, Fire-Dex offers up to a 30% discount per firefighter.
This allows departments to equip their personnel with the right gear while maximizing their budgets and maintaining high safety standards.
The RescuePro Package is suitable for a variety of scenarios such as flash fires, natural disasters, search and rescue operations, confined space rescues, gas leaks, civilian assistance, rope rescues, electrical emergencies, and motor vehicle accidents.
Fire-Dex has highlighted that since 1980, fire calls have decreased by 54%, while other emergency calls have increased by 500%.
The RescuePro Package provides NFPA 1951-certified alternative PPE specifically designed to meet the diverse demands of modern firefighting.
Alternative PPE is crucial for addressing issues such as cardiac stress, gear wear and tear, and the spread of carcinogens.
According to the NFPA, cardiac stress is the leading cause of line-of-duty deaths among firefighters.
The RescuePro Package offers lighter and more breathable PPE for non-fire calls, reducing the risk of heat exhaustion.
