REV Group, a U.S.-based manufacturer of specialty vehicles including fire apparatus, has announced a leadership change within its Recreational Vehicles Segment.
Gary Gunter has been promoted to President of the RV Segment, succeeding Mike Lanciotti, who will transition to the role of Executive Advisor ahead of his planned retirement later this year.
Gunter will oversee operations, sales, and aftermarket services across all RV brands and business units, including Fleetwood RV, Holiday Rambler, American Coach, Goldshield Fiberglass, Renegade RV, Midwest Automotive Designs, Lance Camper, REV RV Parts, and the segment’s three service and repair centers.
According to REV Group, Gunter joined the company in 2011 as Division Controller for the RV division.
He most recently served as Vice President and General Manager, overseeing operations for Fleetwood RV, Holiday Rambler, American Coach, and Goldshield Fiberglass manufacturing facilities in Decatur.
His promotion is part of REV Group’s internal succession planning strategy aimed at maintaining leadership continuity within the RV business.
REV Group stated that Mike Lanciotti began his tenure with the company in 2008 when he joined Renegade RV as Executive Vice President.
He was named CEO and President four months later.
Following REV Group’s acquisition of Renegade RV in 2016, Lanciotti was appointed Vice President and General Manager of REV Renegade LLC. In 2021, he was promoted to President of the RV segment.
During his 13 years with the company, Lanciotti played a key role in transforming Renegade into one of REV Group’s top-performing recreational brands.
Mark Skonieczny, President and CEO of REV Group, said: “We’re grateful for the depth of talent and commitment within our leadership team, which enables us to promote from within and advance the strategic goals of our RV segment.”
He added: “Congratulations to Gary on his well-deserved promotion and we extend our sincere thanks to Mike for his years of dedicated service to Renegade RV and to all the brands within our Recreational Vehicles segment.”
