Specified Technologies Inc. (STI) has launched the EZ Path ULTRA Fire-Rated Pathway, a new fire-rated cable management solution designed for high-density data center and telecommunications applications.
The company said the ULTRA pathway has been engineered to support large volumes of data, communications, and power cabling, including high-fill cable tray-supported systems that exceed the capacity of conventional pathway solutions.
Designed for cable-dense environments, the fire-rated pathway is intended for high-fill cable tray systems, main distribution pathways, and backbone routing in mission-critical network environments. STI said the device is built to support efficient, repeatable installation, helping reduce installation complexity and keep construction schedules on track.
The pathway also provides entryway headroom to accommodate oversized pulling heads and pre-connectorized fiber optic cables throughout the lifecycle of the device.
The EZ Path ULTRA accommodates both continuous and discontinuous cable tray systems. Devices are available for 12-inch, 18-inch, and 24-inch wide cable trays up to 6 inches tall, supporting firestopping performance across the full capacity of the tray.
