E-ONE, a subsidiary of REV Group Inc. and a prominent fire apparatus manufacturer, celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2024.
The company, renowned for its innovative fire trucks, has planned a year-long celebration, including special events and the unveiling of a commemorative fire truck badge.
Founded in 1974 as Emergency One, Inc. by Bob Wormser, E-ONE introduced the first modular extruded aluminum fire truck body, establishing its reputation for innovation.
The company has achieved significant milestones in the fire industry, such as introducing the HP 75 ladder with a 500-pound tip load in 1994 and releasing the All-Electric Vector in 2022.
Today, E-ONE employs over 1,000 people at its facilities in Ocala, Florida, and Hamburg, New York.
The anniversary celebration kicks off on March 6, 2024, at E-ONE’s Ocala facility.
This event will honor customers and employees and feature the unveiling of the 50th-anniversary truck badge, which will be applied to all trucks delivered in 2024.
Other notable events include an Employee and Family Celebration Picnic, a photo submission initiative highlighting 50 years of fire trucks, and a special Customer Appreciation Celebration at FDIC 2024.
