As part of the institutional agenda of the Colombian National Fire Department (DNBC), Chief Captain Lina María Marín, National Fire Director and Captain Edgar Hernán Molina, Deputy Director of Strategic and Fire Coordination, received representatives from the fire departments of the departments of Quindío, Cauca, Casanare and Tolima at the entity’s headquarters.
During the day, specific requirements and needs of the following groups were addressed:
Volunteer Fire Department of Armenia, Quindío , headed by the commander, Second Lieutenant Jorge Octavio Urrea.
Cauca Delegation , headed by the departmental delegate, Captain Yesid Banguero and commanders of the volunteer fire departments of the municipalities of Miranda, Silvia, La Sierra, Puerto Tejada, Guachené, Villa Rica and Toribío.
Casanare Delegation , with the participation of fire commanders from Yopal, Villanueva, Maní, Pore and San Luis de Palenque.
Tolima Delegation, with representatives from the fire department commanders of the municipalities of Honda and Murillo.
During these meetings, the DNBC reiterated its commitment to continue coordinating efforts with the country’s fire departments, promoting educational processes and strengthening operational capabilities.
The entity reaffirmed its willingness to work together with each region to ensure a timely, efficient and safe response to the emergencies facing the territories.
