The Câmara Municipal of Belo Horizonte recently honored Coronel Erlon Dias do Nascimento Botelho, the General Commander of the Military Fire Brigade of Minas Gerais (CBMMG), with the Grande Colar de Mérito Legislativo.
The prestigious award was presented during a ceremonial event at the Palácio Francisco Bicalho, the municipal chamber’s headquarters.
Established in 2003, the Grande Colar de Mérito Legislativo replaced the Comenda da Ordem do Mérito Legislativo Municipal.

The latest ceremony marked the 21st edition of this award, where 50 distinguished individuals and organizations were honored.
