City of Belleville reveal newest Deputy Fire Chief

The City of Belleville in Ontario, Canada has announced the appointment of Kyle Christopher as Deputy Fire Chief.

According to Belleville, Deputy Chief Christopher began his career with Belleville Fire and Emergency Services in 2005 as a volunteer at Station #4 and progressed through the service, most recently leading the fire prevention division as Senior Fire Prevention Officer.

Christopher’s professional background

In addition to his role with Belleville Fire and Emergency Services, he also continues to serve as a volunteer with our neighboring Tyendinaga Township Fire Service.

Kyle officially begins his role of Deputy Chief today where he will oversee fire prevention, training, fleet maintenance, strategic projects and emergency management, alongside co-Deputy Chief Mark Shannon.
