On February 25, the new Board of Directors of RINEM – Integrated Emergency Network of Uberlândia took to office with a ceremony.
Every two years, RINEM holds direct elections to renew its Board of Directors, designed to create an active, renewed and integrated network.
RINEM is a network for improving the response to occurrences involving industrial and large emergencies in the municipality.
Founded on December 18, 2018, RINEM emerged with the objective of strengthening prevention and expanding resources for emergency care, with the support of companies and institutions in Uberlândia.
Since the RINEM’s inception in 2018, they have helped more than 2,000 firefighters trained through courses offered by the 5th Military Fire Battalion.
They have also created a distance learning platform foe training and updating firefighters and provided signficant investments in the Military Fire Brigade. Such as the acquiring vehicles, renovating facilities and constructing new firefighting modules.
Another way in which they have helped the local community is through supporting public agencies, resulting in the improvement of emergency structures in the city,
