CBMMG carry out a simulated vehicle accident

The Minas Gerais Military Fire Department (CBMMG) carried out on 22 May in Pouso Alegre, a simulated response to a vehicle accident involving a car and a truck, with three victims.

The action was part of the Yellow May campaign, promoted by the City Hall and focused on raising awareness among the population about the importance of road safety.

The operational activity involved the participation of two CBMMG crews, totaling seven military personnel from the 7th Independent Firefighting Company.

Simulation of a technical rescue

They simulated the technical rescue of victims trapped in the wreckage, accurately performing vehicle stabilization techniques, accessing victims, extrication and pre-hospital care.

The simulation was supported by two professional rescue teams- one from EPR Sul de Minas and another from the Arteris concessionaire, each composed of three rescuers.

The integration between the institutions enabled a realistic and coordinated demonstration of the procedures adopted in complex traffic incidents, reinforcing the importance of joint action in emergency response.

Around 100 students and teachers from the municipal public school system attended the activity, which had an educational and demonstrative nature.

This was designed to allow spectators to understand the risks and challenges involved in serious accident situations, in addition to the technical and specialized work carried out by military firefighters.
