The Military Fire Department of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CBMERJ) held this on Tuesday 27 May a vehicle rescue instruction.
The instruction is part of the ongoing training program under the responsibility of the General Staff (EMG), in the auditorium of the Coronel Sarmento Teaching and Instruction Complex (CEICS) in Guadalupe.
The event was attended by three military personnel specialized in the subject, Major BM Fábio Contreiras, from the Social Communication Advisory, Sub-Lieutenant BM Henriques and Sub-Lieutenant BM Rivelino, both instructors from the General Directorate of Emergency Relief (DGSE).
Technical leveling aims to improve vehicle rescue techniques and tactics, disseminate knowledge and good practices in victim rescue, promoting the exchange of experiences between teams from different groups. During the training, several topics were covered.
Among them, the new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for traffic accidents; Operational Equipment used in vehicle rescue; anatomy and new technologies – armored, hybrid and electric vehicles; vehicle rescue tactics; Pre-Hospital Care (APH) and techniques for creating internal and external spaces.
The protocols are the same as those used in European countries, according to the WRO (World Rescue Organization).
The CBMERJ has held a vehicle rescue instruction as a part of an ongoing training program.
