On March 18, 2025, the Ombudsman’s Office of the Military Fire Department of Ceará (CBMCE), in Brazil, made official its membership to the National Network of Ombudsman Offices (Renouv) coordinated by the Ombudsman General of the Union (OGU-CGU).
With this initiative, CBMCE aims to strengthen its ability to listen to society- improving communication and transparency channels with citizens.
Membership allows the CBMCE Ombudsman’s Office to participate in periodic meetings, training for public agents and integration with ombudsman offices throughout Brazil.
Renouv seeks to consolidate a national public ombudsman agenda, promoting social participation and guaranteeing the rights of users of public services.
The CBMCE Ombudsman’s Office has reinforced its commitment to excellence in service and service provision to the population of Ceará.
The Ombudsman Office of the Military Fire Department of Ceará has announced its membership to the Nation Network of Ombudsman Offices.
