Recent fire suppression efforts by CBMCE

In a recent operation, military firefighters from Sobral successfully extinguished a vehicle fire in Fortaleza.

The incident, which took place on the afternoon of Thursday, May 2, involved a vehicle that was parked in a garage on Rua Raimundo Rodrigues, Bairro Sinhá Sabóia, in the Integrated Security Area 14 (AIS 14).

A passerby noticed smoke emanating from the vehicle and alerted the owner as well as the firefighters.

Preventive measures and emergency contact information

The CBMCE emphasizes the importance of preventive measures to avoid such fire incidents.

Vehicle owners are encouraged to conduct regular inspections, particularly focusing on the condition of electrical installations and ensuring that the electrical system is not overloaded.

In the event of a fire, the department advises the public to remain calm, contact the Fire Department immediately via the emergency number 193, and refrain from attempting to extinguish the fire without proper knowledge or preparation.
