CBMCE and DEBM/ AESP hold meeting with training focus

The Ceará State Military Fire Department (CBMCE) and the Military Fire Department Education Directorate (DEBM), affiliated with the State Public Security Academy (AESP), held a meeting on 22 July for improving professional training within the corporation.

The event, held in the CBMCE General Command Auditorium in Fortaleza, brought together coordinating officers and monitors of courses offered by AESP, with the aim of strengthening integration between the teaching and operational sectors.

From the beginning of the meeting, participants were guided through a structured agenda, focused on a deeper understanding of the pedagogical dynamics and functional responsibilities within military firefighter training.

During the meeting, the DEBM team presented the Directorate’s updated organizational chart, detailing the specific responsibilities of its three organizational units: the educational practices unit, the Academic Support Unit, and the Training Unit.

Furthermore, the officers were able to discuss the main sensitive issues and institutional challenges faced in the daily operations of the DEBM units, especially those requiring direct support from course coordinators and monitors.

It is crucial that everyone understands DEBM’s strategic role as an integral part of AESP and how, together, we can raise the standard of excellence in the training and development of our firefighters, ensuring an even more qualified service to the people of Ceará.”

One of the officers present stated: “We left this meeting with a much clearer vision of our roles as coordinators and monitors.

“Understanding DEBM’s internal processes and the challenges of each cell enables us to collaborate more effectively and, consequently, directly impact the quality of our staff’s training.”

With this, the CBMCE and AESP intend to reaffirm their joint commitment to excellence in military education.

This strategic alignment not only strengthens the DEBM’s role as a technical and pedagogical body but also directly contributes to the continued development of the corporation and the quality of services provided to the people of Ceará.
