Group calls for presidential task force

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth) has called on President Donald Trump to establish a presidential task force to reinvestigate the events of September 11, 2001.

The request follows Trump’s recent executive order to release all classified files related to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr.

AE911Truth, a nonprofit organization representing over 3,600 architects and engineers, claims that official reports on the destruction of the World Trade Center towers, produced by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), do not withstand scientific scrutiny.

The organization argues that a new investigation is necessary to examine the scientific evidence regarding the collapse of the Twin Towers and Building 7.

Former congressman joins call for inquiry

Among those supporting the call for a new investigation is Curt Weldon, a former Pennsylvania congressman and firefighter.

Weldon was present at the World Trade Center following the 1993 bombing and again on September 11, 2001, in his role as chair of the Congressional Fire/EMS Caucus.

Weldon has advocated for further examination of the events leading to the collapse of the towers.

He has also emphasized the impact of the attack on first responders, noting that 343 firefighters died at Ground Zero.

He stated that a reinvestigation could provide answers about what led to the attack and what might have been done to prevent it.

AE911Truth cites concerns over official reports

AE911Truth has argued that the official findings on the collapse of the World Trade Center towers do not account for all available evidence.

The group asserts that a new presidential task force should analyze the structural failures that led to the buildings’ destruction.

The organization’s leadership includes civil engineers, architects, and retired firefighters.

Members such as Roland Angle, Kamal Obeid, and Richard Gage have called for greater transparency in the investigation of 9/11.

AE911Truth claims that previous reports by NIST did not adequately address concerns raised by independent researchers regarding the structural integrity of the towers before their collapse.

Family members and first responders support reinvestigation

Several individuals connected to the events of 9/11 have signed AE911Truth’s call for a new inquiry.

This includes retired firefighters Erik Lawyer and John Keenan, as well as 9/11 family members Bob and Helen McIlvaine, who lost their son Bobby McIlvaine in the attack.

Others backing the request include former fire chiefs, intelligence veterans, and structural engineers.

The signatories argue that reopening the investigation would help clarify unanswered questions about the attack and provide a more comprehensive understanding of what happened.
